S.I.T.E.M. s.r.l. was founded in 1955 by Bosco Messini father of the present MD Deanna Messini.
The Company, which takes pride in holding reliability as its main focus so to favour human relations especially with the workforce which are all highly qualified and the on-going attention given to technology involved in the stonemasonry industry, has achieved an undisputed leading position in the business. Marble is a very ancient material and here it is fashioned in a very technological and innovative way. Past and present come together in S.I.T.E.M. which represents today an absolute pride of the “Made in Italy” all over the world projecting itself with great passion into the future.

S.I.T.E.M. can count on adequate large-scale facilities to guarantee a wide range of supplies, of any volume and always to a high quality standard.
The company has been able without major effort to diversify into the different areas of stonemasonry from commercial to luxury and residential building. From the big project to the more specific personal design. Our products are made of travertine, stone and marble in all their different chromatic variations and typology.
The Company’s production output amounts to around 20,000 sq.m. per month.

S.I.T.E.M. avails itself of the invaluable expertise of 40 highly-qualified stonemasons.
The two water-jet machines as well as all the other machinery, which use high level technology, allow the company to continuously expand and update its already wide range of products and to create more artistic items such as mosaics and ornamental carvings.
Currently the company covers an area of 9,000 sq. m. between the production and storage areas and a further open area of 10,000 sq. m. used as storage for marble and travertine blocks.

S.I.T.E.M., in addition to supplying the internal market, exports its products all over the world.
These are some of the most important commissions: the Doha Airport, the Vodafone Towers (Milan), Hotel St.Regis (Florence), "1250 Eye Street" (Washington DC, highly commended as one of the best buildings of 2009), "Toad Hall Hotel" (Barbados), " Hayat Hotel" (Sao Paulo, Brazil), "Avery and March Residence" (San Francisco, USA), an importanmt high-rise building in Dallas, Centro Benessere Teresita (Viareggio), the “Musiktheater” (Linz - Austria), the shopping centre “Avenue Phase III” (Kuwait).

S.I.T.E.M., strong on ethical standards, has never lost sight of environmental issues implementing all those measures apt to reduce any kind of impact on the environment such as investing in energy saving and renewable energy.
